With 2016 now over it's time to reflect on what happened and what we should look for in 2017. CANADA This year has turned out to be a very successful year but this can be attributed to one main factor .... OIL. In the first two months of 2016 the Canadian stock market was down by 9% largely due to the price of oil. By year end the market was up 17%.
